Why it's a Hard-Knock Life for Daughters of Famous Politicians

By Cate Sevilla

The daughters of Presidents and Presidential candidates never seem to have it easy, and The Sisters Bush and Bristol Palin have made fine examples of that over the years.

While we all know about the Bushes' drinking "oopsie daisies" a few years back, the girls have recently told People magazine that they may have been a little "naive" about how things would go down in The White House. Jenna Bush explained that:

"Eight years ago, my dad was a very popular Texas governor....We were very optimistic. I think maybe I was a little naive about how people would treat him. But he's never wavered in his decisions and he's the same as he was when we were little, his ethics. So that's something to be proud of in itself."

Bush's ethics are something to be proud of? Eesh.

Apparently Jenna and Barbara also gave Sasha and Malia Obama a tour of all the "cool" and "secret" places in the White House when the Obama family came for their tour of their new home. I'm assuming they didn't share with them where the staff hides the key to the liquor cabinet. That would just be innappropriate.

Speaking of all things inappropriate, it seems that Bristol Palin's soon-to-be mother-in-law and grandma of her new baby that's rumoured to be arriving very soon, has been arrested on multiple drug charges. Merry Christmas, non?

According to the Huffington Post, 47-year-old Sherry L. Johnston was "charged with six felony counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance". While there's no word on what the controlled substance actually is, 23/6 are wondering if  Levi Johnston's mom actually is running a meth lab.

O! What I would give to be a fly on the gun rack at the Palin household this Christmas.
