The incredible Wanda Sykes was invited to speak at the White House Correspondent's dinner this past weekend, and what an amazing job she did. Roasting the press and The President of the United States is a task too big and too harrowing for some- but somehow, someway, Wanda made it so.
Wanda's speech is pretty much the most awesome thing I've seen all day. Well...except for maybe the video of President Obama's speech where he claimed that he will "complete his next 100 days" in "72 days" and then "on the 73rd day, I will rest".
Taking a few (incredibly awkward) jabs at Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity's claims that he would undergo the water board torture treatment in the name of charity, Sykes declared that Keith Olbermann should water board Hannity and that she could "break him" simply but putting him "in a middle seat in Coach".
Another highlight from Sykes?
“Gov. Palin, she’s not here tonight, she pulled out at the last minute. Somebody should tell her, that’s not really how you practice abstinence.”
Awww yeaaaah.
