The past few days in the election have left me astounded. Between the
worldwide financial crisis, Sarah Palin's ridiculous interview skills
and the uncertainty of when the debate is - I'm just fed up.
John McCain, you have completely fucked up my Friday night plans. My plan was to cook up some great food, stay up late and tune into Channel 4 over here in the UK and watch the debates live. But noooo, now we don't even know when the hell they're going to be because all the sudden, by god, John McCain is a reformer! He cares about the economy! He must suspend his debate to take care of the US financial crisis!
In fact, he cares about it so much, that he's "suspended" his campaign to show how much he cares. As well as canceling his appearance on David Letterman to rush back to Washington.
Wait, actually, that's not true. He rushed to CBS News to talk to Katie Couric before rushing back to Washington.

Pardon, McCain, but isn't stopping by a news station to chat about suspending your campaign sort of, oh I don't know, not make any god damn sense?
And, as Letterman feverishly pointed out over and over again in his rant about you bailing on him - where the hell is Sarah Palin? If you're suspending your campaign to take care of business, wouldn't it make sense for your second in command to step to the plate and take over?
If she can't even take over you campaign, how is she going to take over the country when and if you - god forbid - keel over and die during your - god forbid - presidency?
I tell ya. If it weren't for people like Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart, I pretty sure I would go insane.
Ah yeaaaaaah.
If all of you would like to keep up on what the sane people of the Internets think of this pile of crap election, check out Twitter's new Election feed.
The great part about this Election feed is that it highlights how liberal and democratic Twitter users are. In fact, it also highlights how non tech-friendly McCain is. Take for example the fact that John McCain has a whopping 314 followers and has been on Twitter since the 19th of September.
Welcome to the party, McCain! You're about a year or two behind...
