A bill in Egypt is up for legislation which would require tougher punishments and enforcements for perpetrators of sexual harassment. The bill is, shockingly, supported by both the National Democratic Party and the Muslim Brotherhood - two groups which don't always necessarily agree. But what will this mean for the victims?

The California Supreme Court will begin hearing arguments to invalidate Prop 8 on March 3, 2009. Prop 8 was the controversial same-sex marriage ban that passed in the November election by a small margin. Opponents of Prop 8 claim that it violates equal rights granted by the California constitutions, while supporters says that gay marriages violates the will of God. Which group do you think I'm siding with?

In case you haven't noticed, it's snowing like crazy in the UK. Since I lived in California for 20 years, this is pretty exciting for me considering I never, ever woke up to six inches of fresh snow on the ground before. The tubes, buses and trains - and frankly any form of travel - have all been disrupted.
