We all know that Betty White kicks ass. From beer pong with Jimmy Fallon, to her days on Golden Girls, Betty White is a seriously funny lady. This Saturday, 88-year-old White hosted Saturday Night live, and as we mentioned earlier this weekend, she was joined by some of SNL’s most hilarious women, including Tina Few, Amy Poehler, and Molly Shannon, just to name a few.

One of the spectacular things about Paris is its low-lying skyline. I can freely walk down the street, look up and see the sky and feel the air (only mildly polluted) on my face. I'm able to do this because there is an alignment law in place that regulates a building's height according to the width of the street it lines - or a limit of 121 feet.

Here's a study in contrasts: As our own Rebecca Thomson reported, there was a brouhaha about laddish mag Zoo's agony aunt/actor/footballer-wannabe Danny Dyer's 'advice' to a reader, advising him to cut his ex's face so no one else will want to date her.

Few things are as amusing to me as “studies” and “polls” about women and their sex lives. Especially when they make women sound like lazy, nagging, prudes. The Telegraph reports that a new research compiled by the pharmaceutical company Bayer finds that women are having less sex because of technology.

In case you didn’t already know, the French are fervent protesters. They live to argue with friends, argue at dinner parties with people they’ve only just met, argue with government workers… well argue with almost anyone, really. They learn from a very young age that playing devil’s advocate is fun and protesting is merely an expression of their god given rights as citizens of the Republic. And while most are non-violent manifestations, as they call them, there have been seve...

What is it with men and tubes? Particularly when they're men who hold powerful offices and feel the need to wield that power in a grandstanding gesture so everyone knows just what they have in their hands—it can be an embarrassing display. It's Mad Men in a kind of perverse wish fulfillment for a time that never really existed except of course on television. But if they can send women back a few decades, it will be a first step in creating that paradise apparently.

On May 6th it’s not just time to get down to the polling station (if you’re in the UK, that is). Set a reminder in your diaries and break out your blue ribbon because it’s also International No Diet Day.The first INDD, in 1992, was organised by Mary Evans Young – a former eating disorder sufferer and campaigner who wanted to promote size acceptance and was horrified by the lengths women and girls were going to in order to lose weight.
