M&S Drop £2 Surcharge On Big Bras

By Cate Sevilla

Thanks to the brilliant women who started the Busts 4 Justice group - Marks & Spencer have not only dropped their £2 surcharge on bras bigger than a DD cup, but they're also offering a 25% discount on all bras.

Apparently threatened by the prospect of new M&S shareholders such as Beckie Williams and other Busts 4 Justice members storming their annual meeting, they've completely backed down and have made the right decision.

Of course the Daily Mail are taking this as a victory for themselves as they say,"The decision also came as a triumph for the Daily Mail after it highlighted the 'big boob surcharge' on Tuesday."

You know, because clearly Sir Stuart Rose is dead scared of what The Daily Mail says, but never mind. It is true that for once in their life the Mail highlighted a story that was actually interesting, but one has to wonder if it had been about anything other than big boobs if they would be paying attention.

Busts 4 Justice cofounder Beckie Williams was obviously overjoyed at the decision and said,

"This is absolutely fantastic news...

"It just goes to show what you can achieve as a group of ordinary women who decided this cause was worth fighting for.

"We feared M&S would carry on the fight. I am just glad they've done the right thing."

Although M&S have done the right thing, I still don't think I'm that keen on handing over my money to them and purchasing one of their bras.

Would you still buy your bras at M&S?

The Mail won the battle? According to The Sun's front page it was them. Never mind the 15,000 members of the facebook group!

I'm glad that M&S have made the decision to back down but I still won't be buying their bras. They are not nearly well structured or sturdy enough to support anything over a D cup!
