Lindsay Lohan's Lawyer Quits as She Heads to Jail

By Cate Sevilla

Rather unsurpringly, Lindsay Lohan’s latest lawyer, Robert Shapiro (of the OJ Trial fame) has now resigned. He lasted aporximately a week as Lohan’s lawyer, after her previous attorney Shawn Chapman Holley called it quits on the actress, as well.

When you have two lawyers quit within a few weeks of eachother, that most definitely says something. To me, it says that Lindsay simply doesn’t want to be helped. Perez Hilton has been pretty up to date with the latest shenanigans with the Lohans, and it appears as though Li-Lo couldn’t agree with Shapiro’s conditions, which were that she complied with both the court’s ordes, and his orders. How demanding of him.

Today is the day Lindsay is meant to go to jail, so we’ll see what happens, especially as it seems that she has no one on her team (never mind in her legal aid) to back her up.  Lindsay won’t be having daily showers in the slammer, nor will the public be able to see her arrive at her shiny new home, as the court has ordered that camers stop rolling hwhen the baliff takes Li-Lo into custody.

Well, no fun for us, but we all saw what happened when Paris Hilton was sent to prison and all hell broke loose. (Although seeing her sob was hilarious. I mean SAD.)

Linsday Lohan clearly has a plethora of problems with drugs and alcohol, and is in a world or trouble. Unfortunately even those who want to help her are denied, and her parents are both insane media whores and it would appear that all she has left is...well, a jail cell.

I really hope this time behind bars sorts her out.
