Go First Class: Put Your Face on a Stamp!

By Cate Sevilla

While most people email and Tweet at their friends and family instead of sending them actual mail in the post, Royal Mail might just have a reason for you to get off your lazy ass and send your family some mail!

Royal Mail’s new Smilers Stamps allow you to use your own photo and turn it into a first class stamp! (This may be the closest in your life you’ll ever get to first class, so don't pass this opportunity up.)

All you have to do is go to the Royal Mail Smilers Stamps website, upload whatever photo you want to put on your stamp, crop and adjust the image accordingly, and that’s pretty much it.

Your fancy schmancy personalized stamps will only cost you for £7.50 for £13.50 for 20, and then add a pound or so for shipping. While most people will use these for their “save the date, I’m finally settling and marrying some guy I don’t even life” announcements, and for their kids birthday invitations  - you might as well get creative.

A photo of your dog in a sweater? A photo of you giving the middle finger on all your Christmas cards? Spice it up!

Check out Royal Mail’s website for more information!

We've had this in the States for awhile, it's totally fun! Once you get beyond the puke factor associated w/ the wedding announcements, the fun stuff makes it worth it!
