We may not know the title, it may not have a release date, but it's going to happen. Joss Whedon is working on a sequel to Dr. Horrible, and Nathan Fillion is already on board.
Joss already said two months ago that they were working on a sequel and had a storyline planned out, but each bit of news brings us that much closer to a Dr. Horrible sequel.
Nathan sat down with MTV to confirm that Joss and his fellow Whedons were indeed still working on material for the Dr. Horrible sequel, and that they have a title and a few songs written.
Check out Nathan's interview with MTV about Dr. Horrible's sequel:
There's no word on a release date yet, and no hints on what form the project will take. Knowing Joss, it will be some form of independent media. But are we looking at another online project, or something on a grander scale? Will have 15 minute shorts, or will it be a full feature project? Only time can tell, and this Dr. Horrible fan is anxiously awaiting more news.
What do you think they're going to do with the plot? With the amazing Felicia Day return to reprise her role as Penny? Will we see more of Captain Hammer in therapy?
There are more questions than there are answers at this moment - but that's how Joss works. And we like it.
If you like Dr. Horrible, you may want to keep an eye open for the fan-made prequel Horrible Turn, out November 10th.
