Having lain low on the musical front over the past year or two (I'm not counting her lazy attempt to outdo Britney with a best-of), Christina Aguilera has returned to the public consciousness with a bit of charidee as the face of the World Hunger Relief campaign for Pizza Hut and KFC.
Appearing in the brands' advertising, as the face of 'From Hunger to Hope', Aguilera will help to raise awareness of hunger issues and money for the charity who has already made over £22m for organisations such as the United Nations World Food Programme.
It seems ironic for brands such as KFC and Pizza Hut, who play a significant part in other food related crisis', such as that of obesity, to be involved with a food related charity, but at the end of the day, if they are raising both awareness and money for an important cause, I guess you can't knock it. A slice of pizza now and again never hurt anyone afterall.
